Whether you love fiction, nonfiction, fairytales, or romance novels, May is the month for you. It's Get Caught Reading Month. Even if nobody catches you, this is the perfect occasion to curl up with a good book and let your mind explore. Our real estate agents recommend visiting one of these Long Island book stores to find the perfect book.

  • Theodore's Books: 17 Audrey Ave., Oyster Bay, NY 11771
If you're looking at Oyster Bay homes for sale, stop by Theodore's Books while you're in the area. This book store is the creation of former Congressman Steve Israel, who wanted to create a warm and friendly place for his fellow book lovers to shop.

Theodore's Books carries a wide range of genres, including historical fiction, romance, and children's titles. They also have a selection of journals, puzzles, and other games. You can read in one of the store's comfortable chairs or take your book to one of the quaint cafes nearby.

However, they also have a great selection of novels and nonfiction for adults.
